Hadley Raysor: The Dandy Dog Walker
Hadley has been walking dogs professionally (both with companies and independently) in Boerum Hill/Cobble Hill/Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn for nearly four years, and has lived with dogs off-and-on for over three decades. Hailing from New Hampshire, Hadley has been living with their tabby rescue cat Franklin in Crown Heights, Brooklyn going on six years.
Hadley began walking dogs shortly after moving to New York City, and has been loving their job ever since. A gentle and intuitive person with firm dog (and cat) behavior boundaries, Hadley is able to connect with creatures and to form long-lasting deep bonds with the animal companions they walk and care for.
Hadley specializes in walking sensitive dogs (and pet sitting sensitive creatures), who move through the world with anxiety, fear and stress; Hadley works to build your animal companion's confidence through encouragement and patience. Hadley believes in a positive reinforcement approach, and is loving yet firm with the dogs they walk and creatures they sit. Your creature won't be curious about what is expected of them.
Ketch Wehr + Furface Pet Portraits
Ketch has been painting custom watercolor, gouache, and acrylic pet portraits for over a decade.
Ketch Wehr is a New York-based artist with a flair for the feral. Much of his work leans towards illustrative realism, and Ketch’s undying love of animals and wildness seeps into much of what he does. At times loud and bristling, other times still and earnest, Ketch is clearly working a whole bunch of stuff out here.
Ketch studied fine art at Smith College and currently works as a freelance illustrator in Manhattan and Graphic Designer for Bazaarvoice Media.
His clients for illustration and design include: Diesel: Reboot, BBDO, Vice Magazine, Bazaarvoice, Dell, American Express, Starbucks, Flamingo Rampant Publishing, General Electric, Planned Parenthood, Lil Bub's Lil Book, WordONE New York, Natural Lands Trust, Muse Magazine and Carus Publishing, Mirah, Stowaway Games, and The Dandy Dogwalker.
